New Things to do with Cream Cheese

I like cream cheese! I like it on Bagels and in frosting. That’s kind of sadly the only two places that it was relegated to though till this last year. This last year I found many new things to do with it!!

Cream Cheese Pie Crust
Pros: Easy, Yummy, Has no Crisco in it!
Cons: Because butter and cream cheese are the main “glue” in this recipe it doesn’t stand well to lots of rolling or handling.

Cream Cheese Biscuits
Pros: Oh so good! Easy blender (I used my Ninja for it) recipe.
Cons: Takes more then just a few minutes! You have to let the dough cool so that the cream cheese stiffens back up but well worth the effort of doing it ahead of the meal!

Chocolate Peppermint Patties
Pros: Another easy-ish recipe that tastes just like York Peppermint Patties without any questionable things in.
Cons: Does require some pipping skill for get the nice little circles.

Alfredo Sauce
Pros: They best Alfredo Sauce I’ve ever had!
Cons: Like all Alfredo Sauce’s it doesn’t reheat well 😦 Oh well its better right out of the pot anyway!

These are just the ones that stand out to me. I loved these recipes and have shared them and they are my go to recipes 🙂

Enjoy!
